On July 23, 2024 during a working visit to the Tula Region the governmental delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, Acting Governor of the Tula Region Dmitry Milyaev, accompanied by Denis Butsaev - General Director of «Russian Environmental Operator» —public law company visited Innovative Waste Recycling Complex “Tula”, which was completed as part of the Ecology national project in 2023.
GreenRTech LLC acted as a technological partner of the developer Region-Comfort LLC (part of the “Khartiya” Group of Companies, one of the leading Russian waste management operators) and the general contractor PSO-13 JSC, providing the design of the production process and the completion of the complex with the main technological equipment.
At the moment, the specialists of GreenRTech LLC are carrying out the final stage of comprehensive commissioning of the equipment supplied and installed within the project.
Members of the delegation got acquainted with the main stages of SMW and bulky waste processing and visited the waste sorting facility with an optical vision section with flexible artificial intelligence for the selection of useful fractions, the hydro-separation section, i.e. the separation of SMW using water and air flows into 3 fractions (polymer materials, food waste, glass) and the workshop for non-contact destruction of polymers, (chemical decomposition by heating without oxygen using the technology low-temperature pyrolysis).
The complex is fully automated and equipped with a dispatching and waste chain management system. The complex implements a face and object recognition system using neural networks and video analytics.
After commissioning and successful testing of innovative technologies and equipment at WRC “Tula”, they will be presented on the Russian market for use at other waste processing complexes.
